The First Tee

Believe it or not, it is possible to golf in Regina in the late fall, winter and early spring months! With the latest in simulated golfing technology, The First Tee provides the opportunity to keep your swing grooved for the summer months. A choice of 58 world-class golf courses and 30 formats of play, including the popular stroke play, Best Ball, Texas Scramble, and Skins, and practice chipping, putting, and sand play areas will keep you entertained for months. Eighteen courses played by the PGA Tour, the European Tour, and the Australian Tour are at your fingertips. Courses closer to home include Banff Springs and Chateau Whistler. Whether it’s with some good friends, a staff or company function, or a stag or stagette, you’ll find a course in our lineup which suits your game “to a tee”.

With ten simulators, The First Tee is one of Canada’s largest indoor golf centres. Each of our ten simulators is a large private booth with a heavy-duty hitting screen at the far end, on which is shown a projected image of the golf course. In the booth itself is a large turf mat with various simulated surfaces from which you will hit, whether it’s from the fairway, rough, deep rough, or sand. Various lies, angles, locations, and wind are all taken into account as you make your way around the golf course. Playing different brands of golf balls will even produce different ball flight patterns. The patented infrared tracking system, with its 688 independent sensors, is the industry standard for indoor golf. The system sees the slightest variation in ball flight performance and accurately displays the exact flight of each and every shot in real time, without requiring the golfer to hit the ball from a fixed area or position, or telling the system which club you’re using. Full Swing Golf simulators, which we use here at The First Tee, are known in the industry as being some of the most user-friendly, and quickest to use, in simulated golf. Indoor golf is always charged at a “time” rate, and we want to make it easy for you to use the system and play golf, real indoor golf – without limitations.
